Speed and response time are not interchangeable
A connection can move a large file quickly but still take time to respond to each request. For games and calls, response times and consistency often matter more than a headline download speed.
Change one thing at a time
First pause downloads, backups, and other heavy transfers. Repeat the test in the same mode. Next compare Ethernet with Wi-Fi if you can. If you use a VPN and it is appropriate to disconnect it, compare that separately. Do not change every setting at once: you would not know which change helped.
Check the actual application too
A high result to one destination does not prove that every destination is slow. Compare the latency shown inside the affected game or call application. If only that application struggles, its server or network route may be involved.
Collect useful evidence
Write down the time, connection type, test mode, and what changed. Repeat at another time of day. These details are more useful when contacting support than a single speed number. Avoid posting your public IP address with screenshots.
